The Professor Presents: #GotHandles is a game wherein you would be against one of the finest all-time ball handlers. You would find yourself on court stacked against the streetball legend, The Professor.
Starring Grayson Boucher
#GotHandles stars Grayson Boucher, who is also known as The Professor. In the game, you would expected to finish fairly complicated streetball moves, and also tasked to do the “spider-dribble”. The major draw of this game, like most other sports games, is it makes you think you could play just like professional athletes. #GotHandles is not just a great sports-themed VR game but it also demonstrates the significant possibilities VR has for sports games in the future. The concept of interacting with a non-existent object is kind of unique and also tricky, demonstrating the fundamentals of VR.
The Professor is keen on recruiting fresh individuals to be a part of his team, and the tryout is the opportunity you have to prove yourself and be in his team. The game employs 360-degree video wherein Boucher and his team (also Bouchers) would introduce themselves to you, making for a fun and clever usage of positional audio. Thereafter, the game plays out, with a cartoony Boucher model demonstrating a series of moves for you to replicate. The game uses the motion controllers of Vive to approximate the basketball dribbling feeling. A green and gray circle would indicate where you must start and end a move, respectively. The game really does model the basketball’s bounce and spin well.
